Adolescence is packed with experiences of being tested, of rising up and falling down;
it's a relentless adventure into yourself and your decisions.
It's a time in your life to awaken your curiosity, your character, and your capability,
to nurture a sense of wonder.
Take time to wrestle with the deeper questions going on in your heart and mind, which show up in many areas in your life.

Adolescence is an initiatory process requiring a deliberate action to acknowledge becoming an embodied, unique adult.
This process requires neutral guides and mentors, supportive allies, family, to be recognized and witnessed.
Without healthy and supported opportunities for initiation, young people create their own risky versions right at the edge of life.

EVERYONE A HERO calls on:
Sustainability, developing inner awareness, traditional and survival skills, experiential growth, the therapeutic use of adventure, exposure to life away from technology, relational skills, the power in communicating yourself effectively, physical movement, and moments of awe and inspiration.
Connection
We connect with ourselves,
with each other,
with our natural world,
and with something greater.

Resilience
This is the class that has been
missing in school.
The toolkit we need to manage our feelings, life and change.

Identity
The power that lies in
self-esteem and confidence.
To be clear in your values
and able to discern
what is right for you.

Leadership
Each individual is a
mentor to others,
a hero in their own story,
and deeply needed
in the community.
